Pencil Tip Publishing is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Blake’s 7 fan to join our editorial team for an upcoming publishing project. If you’re passionate about the Blake’s 7 universe and have an eye for detail, this is a unique opportunity to help shape a new collection of stories set in this beloved sci-fi world.

Position: Co-Editor (Volunteer/Project-Based)
Location: Remote
Start Date: July 2025

Duties will include:

• Collaborating closely with the project editor(s) on all editorial aspects.
• Reading and reviewing submitted stories to ensure they align with Blake’s 7 continuity, established lore, and character accuracy.
• Assisting with editing for spelling, grammar, structure, and style.
• Ensuring stories are complete, coherent, and free from clichés, hidden meanings, or inappropriate content.
• Providing constructive feedback to authors to help enhance story quality.
• Maintaining a logical narrative flow and upholding editorial standards of good taste.

Qualifications:

• Strong familiarity with the Blake’s 7 series, its characters, and canon.
• Previous editing or proofreading experience (fan-based or professional) is a plus.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Ability to work collaboratively and meet editorial deadlines.
• Passion for storytelling and science fiction.
