New Doctor Who Related Project
Pencil Tip is seeking contributors for a new Doctor Who related project - the As of Yet Unnamed Doctor Who Season 13 Project.
The aim of the NOT YET NAMED DOCTOR WHO SEASON 13 PROJECT is something similar in structure as Pencil Tip’s WHAT THE FANS THINK series of books.
We are looking for articles, reviews, opinion pieces, behind the scenes, actor/character spotlights or other similar articles where the focus is on Season 13. Season 13 was broadcast from 30 August 1975 to 6 March 1976 in the UK.
The season included: the Fourth Doctor (Tom Baker), Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), with appearances by: Harry Sullivan (Ian Marter), Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart (Lethbridge-Stewart), and John Levene (Sgt. Benton).
ARTICLES/OPINION PIECES/ESSAYS/ETC.
We’re looking articles, essays, opinion pieces, behind the scenes details & information, actor/character spotlights, production overview, supporting character spotlights, or other similarly themed pieces which focuses on Season 13.
These pieces should be a minimum of 1500 (or more) words.
If you have any ideas for other material, you think might make a good addition to the publication, please feel free to email us.
ORIGINAL FICTION
- We are also open to including original fiction set within the Season 13 timeline.
- Fiction should feature the Fourth Doctor and Sarah Jane Smith.
- Fiction should be approximately around the 5000-word mark.
ARTWORK
We are also looking for artwork to accompany each of the episode, and overall season reviews. There may also be a need for artwork to accompany any of the articles.
SUBMISSION FORMAT
Below you will find a sample of how submissions should be submitted. Please ensure that documents are formatted as follows:
- 8.5 x 11-inch size page
- Page Margins: 1-inch top bottom left & right sides
- Headers: Your name, email address, title, and page number
- Font: Times New Roman 10 or 12 pt
- Spacing: Double spaced
- Word Count
- Document: Word (.doc or .docx format)

WHAT DO CONTRIBUTORS GET
Contributors will get a contributors copy of the published book plus contributors will receive a 30% discount on purchasing additional copies of this book as well as on all other books published by Pencil Tip Publishing.
