WHAT THE FANS THINK SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Unapologetic and critical fan reviews and assessments.
WHAT THE FANS THINK is Pencil Tip’s series of books where the fans review and assess their favorite television series. Fan opinion can be extremely critical, often harsher than that of the meanest television critic. But when the fans love something, you know it. Praise, when given, is genuine and heartfelt.
Each volume will concentrate on a specific series and will feature original reviews, essays and analysis of every episode of that particular series. The fans will have their say on what they think are the best, worst and merely average episodes of a series. You just might be surprised by what they have to say.
To date we have published eight books in the series covering Blake’s 7, Torchwood, UFO, Sarah Jane Adventures, The Tomorrow People, Class and Space: 1999.
Keep tuned to this section for announcements for further volumes.

BLAKES 7: DEFIANCE SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We are currently accepting story proposals for our latest charity short-story collection, Blakes 7: Defiance
A cult classic of British science fiction TV series, Blake’s 7 first aired in 1978 and quickly established itself as a bold and subversive entry in the genre. Created by Doctor Who writer Terry Nation, the series follows freedom fighter Roj Blake and a ragtag band of rebels aboard the stolen alien spaceship Liberator, as they wage a desperate guerrilla war against the totalitarian Terran Federation. With its morally complex characters, dystopian themes, and an unflinching look at power and resistance, Blake’s 7 set itself apart from the more sanitized sci-fi of its era.
.All net proceeds from this publication will be donated in support of the Alzheimers Society of British Columbia who’s vision is a world without Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, and that world begins with a society where people affected by dementia are welcomed, supported and included. Together with people with lived experience, we mobilize a broad community of care and support research into the disease to ensure people affected by dementia are not alone.
